This archive will be progressively documented, and is provided at this initial stage for two purposes: to encourage everyone who has photographs suitable for this archive to come forward and offer them for inclusion in this collection; and to solicit comments and information about any of the photographs, particularly to identify people and/or elaborate on the occasion recorded in the photograph. The archive will eventually be moved to the main Archaeology Website.
